If Hanacaraka were Indonesian letter

Do you ever think why Indonesian use Latin letters? As we know that Indonesia has Hana Caraka which is the original letters. We know that some countries which use Latin letters such United State, United Kingdom etc. will face difficulties when they compete the countries which use non-Latin letter such as China, India, Japan, Korean, Thailand etc. The westerners will be difficult to develop their product. However the countries with non-Latin letter can be a competitor of the westerner’s domination in industry and economy. For example Google cannot translate Indian language, Chines language and other non-Latin letters correctly.
If Indonesian uses its original letter, they will not only a technology user but also a technology maker. With the result that we may have our own software or operating system with Hana Caraka letters, and the citizen of Indonesia can be more creative to develop their own technology because; only them can understand their own language. In fact we don’t use it and unfortunately we as Javanese people just learn Hana Caraka letter only in elementary school and after that we forget it.
There are two reasons why Indonesian use Latin letter then Hana Caraka. The first, Indonesia was colonized by Dutch for many years that influence Indonesian culture and other traditions. In Dutch era Indonesian people forbidden to use Hana Caraka letters because, if Indonesia people use Hana Caraka letter the Dutch will be difficult to control the movement in Indonesian than. So, Dutch forced us to learn Latin letter. The second, Indonesia is a country which has many islands that have many different cultures and traditions each island. It will be difficult to unite them because, Hana Caraka only used in Java, Bali, and some regions in Sumatra. Finally, although Hana Caraka is not the official letter in our country we may not forget that we have original letter and we have to keep it don’t let our original letter admitted by other country because today the Javanese who can write and read Hana caraka is rare.
